My Current Projects
My Mantra
“My Mantra” is an innovative project that employs traditional Mokuhanga printmaking techniques to create a series of 52 prints. Each print will explore and reference different aspects of Nāda Yoga, beautifully depicted through mantras, meditation practices, and philosophical concepts. By integrating these elements, the project aims to visualize the profound connections between art, sound, and spirituality.
The collection will culminate in a comprehensive art/reference book titled "Resonant Art: Mantra, Meditation and Nāda Yoga." This book will serve as both a visual focus point for a mantra practice and a valuable resource, inviting readers to engage with the transformative power of sound and imagery. Through meticulous craftsmanship and thoughtful design, "My Mantra" seeks to inspire a deeper appreciation for the harmony of art and spirituality, encouraging reflection on the resonant energies that unite us all.

Downunder Papier Dominoté
For a long time I have been inspired by Antoinette Poisson and her beautiful handcrafted papers. This inspiration has given birth to "Downunder Papier Dominoté", an exciting project that explores the vibrant art of Papier Dominoté through the lens of Mokuhanga printmaking techniques. This traditional French technique involves creating decorative patterned papers, historically used for wallpapers and other decorative applications.
In this project, I will craft a diverse range of beautiful papers suitable for wallpaper design, bookbinding, origami, and box covering. By incorporating bold patterns and rich colors, I aim to infuse contemporary Australian aesthetics into the timeless elegance of Papier Dominoté.
Using Mokuhanga, a water-based woodblock printing method known for its precision and subtlety, I will create unique prints that celebrate the interplay of culture and craft. This project not only seeks to revive traditional paper arts but also encourages creativity and sustainability in modern applications, inviting individuals to appreciate the beauty of handcrafted paper in everyday life.
